Pricing and process

Fixed-price quotes, reviewed document by document.

How the price is set

The quote depends on the document’s length, scan quality, layout, tables, and accessibility work required. You receive the total price before work begins. One-document projects are welcome. There is no subscription.

What the quote includes

The exact document version I reviewed, the work included and excluded, the total price, delivery terms, how to accept, and payment terms. It is written to be forwarded for approval.

From quote to invoice

Requesting a quote does not authorize work. Your quote identifies the document, scope, fixed price, and proposed delivery terms. Work begins only after you accept the quote and we confirm any purchasing authorization your organization requires. If your organization uses purchase orders, include the PO or purchasing instructions with your acceptance.

  1. Quote

I review the document and email a fixed-price quote.

  2. Written acceptance

You accept by replying to the quote email.

  3. Purchasing confirmed

We confirm any purchasing authorization your organization requires, such as a PO, vendor registration, or tax forms. Work begins after that.

  4. Delivery and invoice

The fixed PDF, a testing summary, known limitations, and the invoice. A date you request on the quote form is a request, not a confirmed delivery date.

If the document or scope changes

The quote covers the version I reviewed. If it changes, I tell you before doing any additional work. Nothing is added to the price without your agreement.

Payment

Accepted payment methods are stated on each quote.

If I miss something

Reply to the delivery email. Defects in the agreed work are corrected. New content, or a replacement version, gets its own quote.
